Behind the Scenes: Our Candle-Making Class with Maria B

Earlier this year, we had the honour of being invited to host a candle-making class at the iconic Maria B studio in Lahore — and it was one of the most beautiful experiences we've had as a brand.

What started as a creative collaboration turned into an afternoon full of laughter, melted wax, and some genuinely stunning handcrafted candles made by some incredibly talented people.

The Setup

We brought everything — the wax, the moulds, the colours, the fragrance oils. The Maria B team set up a gorgeous space, and we walked guests through the entire candle-making process from scratch. Watching someone pour their first candle and seeing their face when it sets perfectly — that never gets old.

What We Made

Guests crafted their own custom scented candles, choosing their colours and fragrances. Every single piece was unique. No two candles looked the same, which is exactly what handmade is supposed to feel like.

Why We Do This

At Candle With Care, everything is made to order. We don't keep stock. Every candle, every bouquet is poured fresh for the person it's going to. Events like the Maria B class remind us why that matters — because when someone makes something with their own hands, even for an hour, they understand the care that goes into every piece we send out.
